Hair Extension Maintenance

Looking after your hair extensions is crucial to get the best out of them. The better you look after them the longer they will last and the easier they are to wear. If you do not maintain your extensions properly, they will become thin and sparse and you will find yourself needing more hair sooner than expected. Following aftercare is crucial to getting the most out of your investment saving you more money in the long run.

Basic Maintenance

Basic Maintenance  is usually carried out between 4-7 weeks. All your extensions are removed and prepped for install whilst your natural hair receives care following your individual care plan. The extensions are then re fitted to create a like new finish.

£60 – £120

Maintenance Plus

Maintenance Plus  is usually carried out at 8-10 weeks. Dependant on your aftercare, your bonds may require extra preparation prior to install. You may have also shed due to the bonds breaking down because of the aftercare and wearing and find yourself wanting to add extra hair. Adding extra hair can also freshen up the look of the extensions or give a subtle change to the colour and effect of the hair extensions providing a fresh look. The cost of adding extra hair is in addition to the basic cost and is as follows.

80 Grams – £120

100 Grams – £150

120 Grams – £180

10 Week Plus

You may be advised to remove your extensions to allow your hair to rest. Putting too much pressure on the natural hair for extended periods of time is not recommended. Should maintenance be agreed-the above maintenance prices are applicable. Removal is free up to 10 weeks of wearing. Anything over this period of wearing is chargeable.

Pre-Fitting Service

Your hair must be a certain level of condition prior to having extensions fitted. We cannot fit extensions to broken or severely damaged hair. A different routine is needed when we wash and care for our hair once you are wearing extensions. It is a great idea to treat the hair to a pre-fitting service. This works well to those who are new to the world of extensions, have previously encountered an unpleasant experience, or to those that have colour or product build up present.  Book your pre-fitting treatment up to 4 weeks prior to your fitting date.

Pre Fitting treatment includes:-

  • Conditioning treatment to protect and restore the cuticle and cortex of the hair
  • Elimination of build-up, pollution and debris- essential to keeping the hair extensions in place and starts your hair at a fresh position
  • Advises on which products to use and how to care for your hair to get you into the rhythm of your new routine to better hair.
  • Pre-fitting preparation including trim and provisional care plan procedure
  • A goody bag specially for you and your hair which includes pre and post fitting products.
